Think of the great iconic sculptures in cities like; Paris,
Rome, DC, Philadelphia and New York. The "Goddess of Oil"
can become a similar icon representing Tulsa and it's history
and heritage. Imagine seeing this beautiful work of public
art, knowing it will be enjoyed for generations, its photograph
in books, articles, post cards..., and being able to say,
"I helped build that."
  Rarely do people have the opportunity to so directly be a
part of a work of art like this. Whether this sculpture ends up
being 4 feet tall or 20 feet tall, whether she stands upon a
simple plinth or within a grand fountain, solely depends upon
how much money is raised.
  Over the next two years we will raise as much money as
we can. During this time there will be periodic updates to
let everyone know how much money has been raised and
what size sculpture can be achieved with that amount. As
the amounts grow, so will the possibilities.
